When young widow Éilis Lawlor disappears in the middle of the night, with her two little children asleep in their beds, it is a chilling case for Detective Lottie Parker. "Three Widows" is an excellent thriller. At first, the action was very slow. I wanted to put this book back on the shelf. However, I gave her a chance. And you know what? I won. The action kicked off. I had my type, actually 2 types, who is a murderer. Unfortunately, my picks didn't work out. For this, the author is to be applauded. I liked the plot twists. Mysterious murders. I have long wondered about the killer's motive. I had no idea why he inflicted such excruciating pain on his victims. When I found out the truth, I felt bad. It was my first reading encounter with the work of Patricia Gibney. Three Widows is the 12th book in the Detective Lottie Parker series. I need to know the earlier parts. I'm waiting for volume 13. If you like strong thrillers, be sure to read "Three Widows". You will meet various heroes here. Everyone here has something to hide.
