Wow! Mikayla Davids rules the modern thriller. Her next book entitled "Her daughter's lies" from the "Bailey Family" series is shockingly engaging.
After reading the previous two parts "The Christmas Party" and "The Family Secret" I absolutely had to read the third part. These three novels are closely related to each other, so I do not recommend starting from the last one.
In "Her daughter's lies" a lot is explained, but there are also many question marks. Thanks to this, Mikayla Davids left the door open for herself to write the fourth part. I secretly hope that such a thing will happen.
This whole series is an 11/10 for me. The author knows how to shock the reader, cause fear and tears. There are many emotions here.
In this part, our heroes are ten years older. The senior of the family - Nadia is turning 75, and her grandchildren are 18. A surprise birthday party is organized for Nadia and her granddaughter Ophelia. In a place where Nadia and her living daughters never wanted to return. Who organized this party? It will be an exceptionally explosive birthday.
If, like me, you love psychological thrillers, you should not miss this title.
I really liked the ending, and it gave me hope for the arrival of a new and unique psychological thriller.
I was pleased to learn about the further fate of Nadia, Ophelia and Sasha. Have these girls come to terms with the loss of their loved ones from the previous part? How did their lives turn out? I am very proud of Sasha. Nadia is the perfect mother and grandmother who will do everything to protect her own family. Ophelia is young and has everything ahead of her. Will she follow in her grandmother's footsteps, or maybe in her mother's footsteps?
"Her daughter's lies" is worth checking out.
