Everyday Public Speaking will prepare students for the speaking events they are likely to encounter now and in the future and empower them to present themselves and their ideas credibly, confidently, and ethically. Students learn the fundamentals of speaking, how to build a presentation, and how to present to different types of audiences.  The focus is on learning how to tailor their messages to a specific audience based on the different needs of three audience types: positive, neutral, or hostile.   Speaking examples, many illustrated by video clips, illustrate the concepts.
