The purpose of the slide set is to show 5S learning group participants how the techniques of the five pillar system can be applied in real-life situations. This will help create excitement about the opportunities for improvement using the five pillars. As the old saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand word. We believe this is true when it comes to learning -- case-study examples such as these work very well to supplement written or spoken explanations.The slide set includes two introductory slides, followed by four or five case-study slides for each of the five pillars. There are a total of twenty-four slides, numbered in order. The script describes each slide briefly and explains its importance in terms of five pillar tools and techniques.
