Using a variety of econometric methods, this work explores business innovation strategies in Canada. Fourteen papers, presented by Gault (director; Science, Innovation and Electronic Information Division; Statistics Canada), examine a number of factors that impact on the success of innovation strategies. In addition to the findings, the work also provides an introduction to the statistical use of innovation surveys.
