Chouko is now a freshman in college and busy with school activities. Kei tries to distance himself from her by throwing himself into his latest work. Despite these obstacles, they do eventually find themselves drawn back to each other, and their mutual affection grows stronger. But things may be complicated by an excursion Kei takes with a female friend from his past.
