"The Angel's Gate and other mysteries" by G.P. Ritchie is a collection of dark stories. I liked some of them, and unfortunately not some. You will find here stories perfect for Halloween. It is worth reading them in the evening, for better and unforgettable emotions. Goosebumps, shivers and chills guaranteed. The best stories from this book are:- "Mother's Mercy"Here you will meet old lady Peg, her son James and Lisa - a girl who wants to become a mother. Will a mysterious amulet help her?- "The Soldier's daughter"Maeve - the daughter of former soldier Alan Gordon. Are you sure you want to hear her sing?- "Swole"Tony Minetti goes to a job interview at his mother's favourite restaurant. Mysterious Steve and his perfectly made-up figure. What did he find on the darknet? Is Ape-x a safe drug to take?- "The Angel's Gate"Here I met Leo Hariman, a young student in a monastery and a Jesuit brother Andrew. Brother Andrew is a very explosive man and in my opinion he was far from God. This character scared me a lot. Leo is a lost young man, his thoughts were very disturbing to me.In his stories, the author gives us a dark world. Horror lovers will find a lot of stories for themselves here.At the end of the book you will find great images. The author explains how they were created. It is worth looking at them after reading all the stories. The cover is very dark and catches the eye of potential readers.I forgot to mention that all the stories are of different lengths. It is worth reading "The Angel's Gate and other mysteries" by G.P. Ritchie. Many thanks to author G.P. Ritchie, Night's Border Press, Love Books Tours, and all Read Along participants for reading this novel together for a month.
