(...) sometimes, when the responsible mother is off duty, it seems like there isn't much of a person left in her place. Being a mother gives me such clear purpose and definition in and for my life. I'm so important to her, snd I feel pretty confident about the job I'm doing. But that confidence and self-importance is dependent upon having someone to mother.
