Looking at the cover of the book "Dummy" by David-Matthew Barnes, I was very scared. When I picked up this e-book, I had no idea that I would receive such a bloodthirsty story. Blood literally flows here. There is something to be afraid of. The perfect book for Halloween. I recommend reading it in the evening or at night. This will make the emotions stronger. If you like to be scared while reading, you must read this book.
I met some interesting characters here. One of them is an old lady named Beverly who has an unusual companion. It's a mannequin named Talbot. It looks terrifying and is human-sized. He accompanies Beverly on every trip. I wouldn't want to have anything to do with them.
The next heroine is a young girl who liked the older lady. Will Talbot scare her away? Or will it be very intriguing?
What happens when our mannequin gets hungry? Find answers to these and many other questions in the book "Dummy".
I haven't read such a gripping horror story in a long time. This book makes me want to read more books in this genre. As is often the case in horror movies, I couldn't be sure of anything. I loved the amazing twists and turns. The ending delighted me. I didn't expect this. I had an ending planned in my head, but the author decided to end the story differently.
I wonder if the author will write a second part of this book. This could be very interesting.
